The Mahd Talent Journey consists of eight interconnected steps that support the young athlete from the moment of registration until the end of the sports season.
The journey begins with the registration and nomination stage, followed by receiving an invitation with a scheduled performance trial. The athlete then undergoes the first performance trial, which lasts for one day, followed by the second performance trial, which extends over an entire week for deeper evaluation.
Next comes the initial acceptance stage, lasting from one week up to a month, during which the athlete is monitored preliminarily before being officially enrolled in the Mahd program. After joining, the athlete enters the sports development stage, which lasts for a full season (10 months), during which they receive the necessary training and preparation to refine their skills.
The journey concludes with the end-of-season evaluation stage, which determines the athlete’s level and outlines their future steps.
Yes, and this is overseen by the academy’s specialized technical team.
The privileges of talents in Mahd include a comprehensive system that ensures young athletes the best environment for growth and development. The journey begins with structured sports training that hones their skills, followed by immersive experiences that provide real-world exposure, and then participation in intensive training camps that enhance their fitness and discipline. Athletes also take part in sports tournaments that allow them to compete and refine their performance in real competitive settings.
In parallel, athletes receive educational programs that support their academic path, along with close monitoring of their athletic performance and nutrition to ensure the highest levels of readiness. They also benefit from specialized medical care to safeguard their health, in addition to comprehensive support that extends to them and their families—creating a balanced and sustainable environment for achieving both athletic and personal success.
Each case is reviewed individually to ensure the student can be enrolled in the Sports Talents School and assigned an appropriate school seat.
The student is evaluated technically in terms of athletic performance and academically in school subjects and related educational programs.
